Salmon-Safe Puget Sound is pleased to announce our upcoming event Salmon in the City, which will take place in Seattle on Thursday, January 28, 2016. This is a free event and will highlight innovations in ecologically sustainable urban design and development that protect water quality in and around Puget Sound. Scientists from NOAA Fisheries will be presenting cutting edge research on the impacts of urban stormwater on watersheds and the health of salmon. The event will feature pioneering collaborations connecting architecture to site ecology and ecological function in the built environment. Salmon-Safe Puget Sound will also be unveiling new certification initiatives targeting zero lot line development as well as green streets and large-scale infrastructure projects. RSVP Today!
